Project Title: Activating Engagement
Project Description: This project examines how individuals form attitudes toward public policies by focusing on the micro-level mechanisms that shape engagement, evaluation, and support. Using a conjoint-based survey experiment combined with qualitative interviews, it analyzes how variations in policy framing, contextual cues, and prior dispositions influence citizens’ willingness to accept policies. The mixed-method design enables both causal identification of policy effects and deeper insight into the reasoning processes underlying policy support and legitimacy.
